It has been three years since our bee colleagues moved to our headquarters in Kumla, Sweden. An activity that not only creates incredibly good and locally produced honey; it’s also a valuable activity to promote pollination, preserve biodiversity and contribute to organic farming and sustainable development.
The summer season has arrived in Sweden which means that our bee colleagues have started their work shift for the summer. They are just as we speak pollinating a neighboring meadow bursting with wildflowers and transforming the nectar they’re collecting. An important work that supports the growth of trees, flowers and other plants – a key part of biodiversity.
When autumn arrives, it is then time to harvest the incredibly good honey that our bees create. And we do of course leave enough amount for them to have during the cold Nordic winter. Just like all of us at Persson, our honeybees are committed to creating a sustainable work life, sustainable products, and a sustainable future. That’s why it’s important to us that our bees are well taken care of at their hives, by local beekeepers.
We will keep you up to date with our honeybees’ progress and our work in terms of sustainability as we continue to focus on the environment. If you have any questions or suggestions about our bees, please let us know! Here’s how to Contact us.
