Meet Thomas Call – our new Quality Manager

Who is Thomas Call and what drives your passion for quality management?

“I am a thorough and analytical person. I enjoy working with quality as it allows me to continually improve both myself and the company’s processes. Originally a logistician, I ventured into quality management after learning about The Toyota Way, Lean, and Six Sigma. As the Quality Manager at Persson, my main responsibilities are to strengthen the quality management system and foster a culture of quality at the site. I will employ conventional quality tools from Lean and Six Sigma to elevate our quality standards. This will help minimize quality costs and maximize production capacity.”

What are you looking forward to achieving as the Quality Manager at Persson?

“I believe we have an outstanding product with a bright future, and I take pride in being part of a company that leads the industry’s transition from plastic to paper. I am eager to establish even higher standards for our overall Quality Management System (QMS) in order to surpass our customers’ expectations when it comes to our handles. The future is promising, and I am highly optimistic about the tremendous potential of our product. I look forward to being part of this exciting journey.”

What does sustainability mean to you?

“To me, sustainability is fundamentally about saving the planet. I believe that the shift from plastic to paper is a vital component of this endeavor.”
