Persson Innovation sponsors local cheerleading team
Persson Innovation's strong commitment to its local community takes various forms. Now Persson Innovation is stepping in as a sponsor of the Cheerleading team Wildfire, which is part of Cheer Unlimited, the local cheerleading club in Örebro, Sweden.
Wildfire, which is a “stunt group”, consists of five girls who perform acrobatic stunts and perform throws with each other up in the air. They won a major Nordic competition at the end of 2021, and have therefore been invited to an international competition in Orlando, FL, USA. Persson Innovation’s support for the team is to enable the trip to the USA.
– We think it feels extremely good to be able to support the local sports life, and not least girls’ sports in particular, which we know is often neglected in form of financial support to enable better conditions for practice and performance. A strong local commitment is important to us, and here we also see a natural connection between this and our business since our support means that we contribute to connecting these girls from Sweden with the USA, which is our largest market. A big congratulations to Wildfire – and we wish them great luck in the competition, says Andreas Carlson, Director of Global Sales.
