Supporting where we stand – and where we believe it makes a difference

At Persson Innovation, we don’t just handle products – we handle responsibility. For example, community engagement isn’t an extra, it’s part of who we are and how we think – both when we develop products and when we choose what we want to be part of outside of work.

Sustainability, to us, is about more than materials. It’s about people, relationships, and the future we want to help build. We work every day to create handles that are better for the planet – using fewer resources and smarter designs. But we also know that sustainability is about how we act as individuals and as a company.

Local engagement with real impact

We believe there is value in encouraging engagement within our workplace – not just because it strengthens the bonds between all employees at Persson Innovation  – but because it makes us a company that stands for something.

At Persson Innovation, we have a simple principle: if one of our employees puts time and heart into an association, especially one that supports youth through sports and activities, then we want to support it. It can be go-kart, as you can read about here, but also cheerleading, tennis, equestrian sports – or something completely different. The important thing is that it means something, both for the individual and for the community around them.

More Than Just Sport – More Than Just Football

Another important part of our local engagement is our role as a Sustainability Partner to Örebro SK (ÖSK). Through this partnership, we support ÖSK’s social initiative More Than Just Football – a long-term commitment that shows how sports can be used as a platform for inclusion, well-being, and social responsibility beyond the game itself.

More Than Just Football, as you can read about here, includes initiatives such as school visits, collaborations with hospitals, and activities that create safe, inclusive spaces where children and young people feel seen, supported, and inspired. As a Sustainability Partner, we are proud to stand behind efforts that strengthen communities and contribute to positive social development over time.

Youth sports shape the future

Sports teach young people to cooperate, take responsibility, and handle both success and adversity. These are qualities that are needed – whether you become an elite athlete, an engineer, or something completely different. By supporting youth sports, we are helping to build something that lasts over time.
